a) Installing Google Analytics–

b) Verifying Site on Google Search Console – (SEM)-

Make website mobile friendly so that it should deliver a great user experience across all mobile devices and results in reducing bounce rate.

d) Optimizing Home Page –

Next thing that a business should follow is to create content which is relevant and around your keywords. This makes Google understand that the content is related to your business and results in boosting business in terms of ranking for that particular keyword.

  • Should pick at least one keyword per page.
  • Title tag should be unique and start with relevant keyword.
  • Include modifiers, example – Like, Best, Top of 2020 etc. in your webpage content or a blog.
  • Maintain certain length for title tag (55 characters).
  • URL should be short and simple that includes your target keyword-Example: www.dighighs.com/webdevelopment.html
  • Avoid numbers in URL.
  • Separate the keywords in URL with hyphens but not with under-scores.
  • Keep Meta description (it is the title preview of the page that appear on the search result page) with 160 characters or less and highlight the benefits of service or product to grab attention of viewers.
  • Optimize Google Image search results, the image or info graphic should be attractive and relevant to keyword or content.
  • Reduce Bounce Rate – Make the topic clear by including target keyword in the first 100 words.
  • Make sure to use your social sharing buttons on blog post or website content so that viewers can share it and boost your SEO.
4- Link Building

After relevant keyword, Backlink determines whether Google wants to put the content at the top of the search results or not. They look at how many people are linking to the webpage because if more people are linking to the webpage then it must be great, resulting in high level of banklinks and first place in search engine result page.

There are two types of backlinks and Google really wants to recognize which backlink a business is following

  • Do follow Backlinks:
    Backlinks from high ranking pages or websites are known as do follow backlinks; they actually have more SEO power.
  • No follow Backlinks:
    Any links that are posted on social media in blog comments are generally called as no follow back-links. They do not pass any value to SEO perspective.

a) To control SEO, create as many ‘Do Follow’ backlinks as you can. For that, businesses should really try and get links from higher authority sites. This is important because Google recognizes such businesses as businesses with a lot of influence as high authority sites are recommending your business or creating links. Reach out those sources or high authority sites to pitch your latest blog post or product, in this way business can maximize their SEO.

b) Use high domain authority websites like Quora, Slide Share etc. Publish content by keeping links at the end of presentation on slide share or answers to questions on Quora. This drives traffic to website and can get your website to the front page of Google search result page.
